This website is educational. It does not provide therapy, diagnosis, treatment, or crisis intervention, and using it does not create a clinician-client relationship.

About the therapist directory

The directory is a referral aid, not an endorsement, certification, or guarantee of any provider's qualifications, availability, or outcomes.

We review submitted information in good faith, but you are responsible for verifying a provider's licensure, credentials, insurance, and fit before beginning care.

Any agreement for services is strictly between you and the provider.

Provider listings

Providers must submit accurate, current information and hold an active license in the states where they practice.

We may edit, decline, suspend, or remove any listing at our discretion, including for inaccurate information or conduct inconsistent with our mission.

Advertising, spotlights, and partners

Advertising and nonprofit spotlight submissions are reviewed before publication. Approval is not guaranteed, and inclusion is not an endorsement of any product, course, or organization.

Classes, events, and registrations

Programs currently listed as pending are not yet scheduled. Dates, formats, and pricing are subject to change, and registration requests are confirmed by us before any commitment is made.

Donations and purchases

Donations and any future purchases are processed by third-party payment providers. Store items are pending; refund terms will be posted before checkout is available.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse this site: no scraping the directory, harvesting contact information, submitting false information, uploading malicious files, or attempting to access accounts or data that are not yours.

Intellectual property

Site content, curriculum, and branding are owned by First Responder Forward LLC unless otherwise noted, and may not be reproduced for commercial use without written permission.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

This site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from your use of this site, the directory, or any third-party services referenced here.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
